Michigan Vascular Diagnostic Center is an ICAVL fully-accredited vascular laboratory. We provide cerebral vascular, aortic imaging, peripheral arterial, and venous non-invasive testing.
In 1980, the physicians of MVC founded the non-invasive vascular laboratory as an adjunct to the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. It was the first of its kind in Genesee County and is now in its 20th consecutive year of accreditation. From its inception, the vascular laboratory has operated under a comprehensive Quality Assurance Program (correlating laboratory, angiography and surgery), and in 1990 was among the first in the country to obtain accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). In 2010 MVC celebrated its 20th consecutive year of acceditation.
